1995 Other Nissan Models CRANKshaft position sensor

1995 Nissan Quest GXE, Cant seem to find my CRANKshaft position sensor... Hanes manual shows it on drivers side, just under the exhaust crossover tube, mounted on the bell housing.
I see everything around it as pic shows in manual... but there is a void where the senor is suppossed to be. There are no wires or wire clamps where it may have been. Any Ideas? Thank You.

That's because your crank sensor is in the distributor
