i have a nissan micra 1994, and recently discovered that on some journeys i make, the engine will cut out when i stop at traffic lights or junction. i only know that the engine has cut out, becaue the battery light will be on my dashboard. at this point i turn the key and im on my way again. why is this happeneing, and why is it not every time im driving or stopping? i have also replaced the battery, thinking this could be the problem, but it continued to happen afterwrds. thanks.
