My son overheated the motor and blew the head gasket in his nissan pulsar nx ( I assume the head warped). would it be more economical to have a used engine installed or the head shaved and gasket replaced. On a very tight budget. Thanks

resurface head and gasket is probably cheaper than a used engine-

You can do the head and gasket standing but replacing the engine is a lot tougher-
