2005 Nissan Micra Front Wheel Drive Manual

my battery is fine but car isn't starting. there is no noise to indicate that the power is getting to the starter at all. where IS the starter? there is a cover at the far end of the gearbox that looks promising but that is nowhere near the flywheel where one would expect it to be. Can anyone give me a few pointers as to how to get to the starter to check it? thanks loads n happy new year

If you follow the battery positive cable it will take you straight to it. Your probable causes could be the starter, starter relay, clutch switch and ignition switch.
