after fitting a throttle body, will any tuning be required or should the part be correctly calobrated.

Throttle body itself does not need adjustment, the throttle position sensor however needs to be adjusted. Signal voltage (ignition key ON, engine no running) should be between 0.45 - 0.55 volts. Rotate the TP sensor until specified voltage is achieved.
