I have a 1990 Nissan Maxima SE with 130k miles 6cyl and am having problems with the electric windows. At first they would work sporadically, then all of a sudden they just stopped working. And of course, it was when the windows were in the down position. I have checked all the fuses and none are burned out. So my question is this: does this sound like a relay switch issue and if so, where do I find that switch in the car? I thank you for your time and help in theis resolution.
Respectfully,

Can you operate windows from other switches, away from the drivers? If not try opening and closing you drivers door, you may have some broken wires in the harnes where the go thru the door into the car.

They do not work form any switch in the car at all. I had checked the boot where the wires come through the door and they dont appear to be broken. This is what made me think it was a switch or "brain" issue. I used to have a Chevy Cavalier Z24 and I had a relay switch go bad. That was ez to fix because the switch was in the center console. I'm just not sure where it is in this car. Thank you very much for your answer. It is appreciated.
