95 Maxima- no heat

My son has a 95 maxima. He lives in Chicago, I live in Pennsylvania. It has about 120,000 miles. He said it does not have heat. I thought it may be a thermostat but after reading the posts I am wondering if it is a radiator. Your thoughts?

Ask him to feel the hoses going into the heater core, if none of them is hot I would check for air in coolant system, if one is hot and ht other one isnt I would check for air in the system, or plugged heater core. If both are hot but still no heat then check the blend door located under the dash.

Step 1 - A heater cannot operate unless the engine is full of coolant/antifreeze. If coolant level is low check the system for leaks.
