I have been receiving a lot of conflicting information about the type of motor oil that I can use for the oil changes on my car. I usually go to the Nissan dealership and they advised me that it does not take the regular oil or synthetic oil for oil changes. They advised me that I have to use Ester oil, which was never advertsed when I purchased the vehicle, and cost two to three times more than a regular oil change would cost. My friend advised his mother has been using Mobil synthetic oil for her oil changes and haven't had any problems with her vehicle. Can you help shed some light on the topic and let me know what I can or can't use. Thanx

Hi there, from my own research i come up with

HAVOLINE SYNTHETIC C3 5W-30

I feel that this should be fine for your car.
