I have a 2005 nissan maxima and when I'm driving on the street at 20, 30, or 40 mph. the rpms goes up to 3 and then it comes down quickly. can anyone tell me what can i do fix this problem????

Test the fuel pressure and the throttle position and mass air flow sensors.
