I am looking to create an adjustment to trick my MAP sensor and MAF sensor to allow me to get better gas millage. Is it possible to tie into the MAP sensor even though it is integrated into the ECU? If so, does anyone have any experience doing this?

Hi Andyzt123,

The ECU reads the MAP, TPS, O2 sensor, Engine Temp, Air temp etc and if any reading is not within specs with all other sesnors, it will cut of the one that is suspected to be defective.

I have no experience doing this and can't think how tricking the MAP can result in better mileage.

If you are successful, let me know, you can patent it and make tons of $$$.
