2004 Nissan Maxima 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

My axle/cvboots have a crack in it how long can you go until you need to have it replaced?

The danger in that is all the grease leaking out of the boot and the axle joint getting damaged or the grease getting into your brake's cause stopping issue's..AS far as how long before that happens there is no exact answer for that.I would replace them before they start leaking.
