2003 Nissan Maxima wierd noises coming from intake

2003 Nissan Maxima 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 70.000 miles

When I hit the gas up to 1.5 - 2; intake makes a weird (rack, rack, rack, ) noise. What could be causing this? Also, what can I do about it?

You'll need an automotive stethoscope to trace down the source of the noise. It's possible that your noise isn't coming from inside the intake but rather from another component connected to the engine.
