2001 Nissan Maxima Shocks or struts

I can feel every bump in the road now. Is my shocks or struts bad? I don't know what is on it.

Many ways to check these. This is what I tell everyone to check. Have someone else drive the car and you follow in another car. Drive about 60 mph on the freeway. If you see the car bounces up and down, you definitely need 4 new struts.

As far as feeling the bumps, I would check the ball joints, along with the struts.
