I have a 2001 nissan maxima SE edition with 88012 miles on it.

my problem - when i make right turns, it sounds like an aluminum plate tapping against another aluminum plate.

do i need to replace my drive axle, or is it a bad cv joint or wheel bearing? If it is one of these pieces, which side is it? when i am driving it sounds like it is coming from the front left.

there is not a funny wear on the tires and it does not sound like a kunking sound.
