Hi!

I have a 5 sp Nissan Maxima. It runs really good, however, there does seem to be one minor problem.

Any time I'm slowing down (i.e., I'm going 60mph and I'm in 5th gear and I'm slowing down, coming to a red light, my car seems to want to go dead.) It runs really good...when it runs. Even if I'm slowing down and I decide to go to Neutral (to rest that left leg), it'll go dead. Now, sometimes if I can catch it in time if I'm down-shifting to 2nd, I have to "pop the clutch" in order to keep it alive. What do you think is the problem?
