Hi,

i have nissan 2001 maxima SE and I get a 15miles per gallon. Please let me know what to do to get the regular mileage, should I need to replace anything.
moreover I feel nowadays I get little bit noise from the engine.

I got the vehicle in 96000miles and I am not sure what the previous owner has done on this car I got this car from a dealer and he got it from a owner through trade in.

I am in san jose, CA let me what should I tell with the mechanic shop?

I would probably have it checked out by reputable shop and just tell them what is going on. Hard to tell what is going on w/o knowing what has been done to the car. Previous owners could have done absolutley nothing to the car as far as you know.
