Hi, I'm wondering what a fair estimate is to replace the front struts and mounts on my Nissan Maxima. I was advised that this needs to be done with my sway bar links and bushing as they need replacing now as they are popping. Is this required as my mechanic is telling me that it is not a safety issue but will need to be completed soon. He quoted me at $1000.

Ok I am assuming you are doing the front. So the struts should be about a $172 each and the labor with alignment and doing the sway bar bushing should be around $240. So that should put you around $582. I would call around and find a better quote. Thanks.
