Thank you for your answer concerning disconect batt. b-4 replacing mass air flow sen.

I'm fixing daughter-in-laws nissan so she can get on the road. just got maf sensor. If you could tell me one more thing I will throw a few your way.

I want to make sure vacumn line from intake to egr valve is not plugged. However I can't find the the egr valve I know it's in the exhaust man. SOMEWHERE. Can you help me locate it....saailer

Its on the driver side, under the intake , on the side of the engine block well hidden, there is apparatus with block plastic body round 2" in diameter with a alumium bottom and two hoses coming out of it mounted with 2 bolts .
