2000 Nissan Maxima Exhaust leak

2000 Nissan Maxima 6 cyl Automatic

my car makes noise and im not an expert but im told its an exhaust leak. i took it to the mechanic and he tells me that its a exhaust flex that needs to be changed and i cant find an exhaust flex online or anywhere for a 2000 maxima. what is exactly the problem. and i think because im too young he is trying to hassle me. please help me out.

HI there,

The flex pipe will be part of the engine pipe, but you should go get a second opinion for your piece of mind.
