Thank you in advance for your thoughts.
For several thousand miles I get hesitation from 4 to 4500 rpm then abrupt loss of acceleration until I ease off the gas slightly then it promptly accelerates. 0-4000 rpm is normal. I have just replaced the fuel pump air and fuel filters.
My mechanic is trustworthy but at the same time he has no clue except to replace parts until it is fixed, since it is not throwing an error code.
any similar situation? HELP PLEASE

Hello !

Clean the Mass Air Flow Sensor could be dirty and its not "reading" the correct amount of air entering the engine, that cause a "confussion" to the ECM and its not delivering the correct amount of fuel, this could be your case.
Also clean the fuel injectors And make sure that they are working right.

Good Luck!
