2000 Nissan Maxima car dies when idle

I have 2000 Nissan Maxima with 145,000 miles. My problem is that the car cuts off when idle. I have change the fuel pump out and still the car cuts off when idle. What is the common problem on this car or better yet what else could I check or replace with my idle problem? Also there is no code display showing there is a idle problem.

Find the auxillary air control valve and clean it, test the throttle position sensor's closed/WOT voltages, check the PCV and EGR valve-might also consider checking the fuel pressure.
