Engine Mechanical problem
1998 Nissan Maxima 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

My 1998 Nissan Maxima SE model appears to have a slight leak around the front and rear Valve Cover Gaskets. I do NOT lose any oil between changes and the car runs fine. Is this something that should be repaired right away or can it wait. Can this damage the engine in any way ?

The repair prices I have been quoted seem quite high around $400.00 for parts and labor.

Thank you

Slight seepage is normal if no puddling of oil let it go no damage will occur.
$400 way to much more like $75 to $100
