Engine Mechanical problem
1998 Nissan Maxima 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a 1996 Nissan Maxima that I switched the engine on. I put in a 1998 Nissan Maxima engine. I scanned it with an Autozone computer and it gave me the code P1320 (Manufacturer Control Ignition System or Misfire). I have tried a lot of different things to fix it but it stays the same. It misfires when raising the RPM's above 1800. When in idle the engine sounds great and I don't hear any problem. I have changed the right ignition coils already because they weren't good. Could somebody please help me?

Probable causes here could be one of the following below:

Oxygen sensor/s
Dirty fuel injectors (cleaning the injectors often fixes this).
Bad MAP (manifold absolute pressure) sensor
Bad TPS (throttle position) sensor
Bad or dirty MAF (mass airflow) sensor
Low fuel pressure (leaky fuel pressure regulator or weak fuel pump)
Vacuum leaks (intake manifold, vacuum hoses, throttle body, EGR valve)
Bad gasoline (fuel contaminated with water or too much alcohol)

Sometimes, what feels like a hesitation is actually ignition misfire rather than lean misfire. The causes of ignition misfire may include:

Dirty or worn spark plugs
Bad plug wires
Weak ignition coil
Wet plug wires
