i am experimenting with my car. i am also concerned with overheating the engine, is it possible to monitor the exhaust temperature ? i do not think my car has such a sensor. can i rely on coolant temperature? i use a scangauge2 . thanks ben

Hi mustben,

The coolant temp gauge is there for you to monitor the temp of the engine. If you don't trust it, get it checked and tested.

Worrying over nothing makes our brain cells die faster and more grey hairs. ;)
