1997 Nissan Maxima squealing noise when starting

My maxima has a squealing sound when I start it for the first time, generally in the morning or after sitting all day. I recently had an alternator replaced and at the same time they replaced the belt. I know very little about cars but I believe this may be a belt issue. Any help or ideas would be appreciated, Thanks
