Hi Harry Allen,

Sorry I am unable to provide any costing but how sure are you it is the oil pan gasket?

Usually oil seals or the oil pressure switch tends to leak more than the gasket and if I am not mistaken, you engine has liquid gaskets which seldom leaks.

Thank you for answering. I took my car to a second mechanic and found out that the timing chain gasket was leaking along wtih the upper gasket. I had the oil pan and upper gaskets replaced by the first mechanic who used the wrong sealent so the new mechanic replaced the gaskets on all the parts and I no longer have a leak. He charged me $658 for parts and labor which was not bad.
Thanks again.
