Engine quits when jumper cables are removed after jumping off.

Hello,

If the engine will start and run with cables hooked up and then shut off once disconnected then most likely you have a charging and a battery problem. So, you should look at changing the Alternator and the Battery. If you can remove them and take them to your local parts store they can check them for you.
