1997 Nissan Maxima brake job

I had a auto shop do a front brake job a year ago. After a squeaking sound I returned to the shop and on inspection they found a hydraulic leak in the right front brake. In their quote they're including an entire redo of the front brakes. Why? Just curious.

If anything should have gone wrong when the brake job was done it would have shown earlier not an year later. Its a new problem sorry to say-
