Transmission problem
1996 Nissan Maxima 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual

I bought a 96 maxima, and the clutch seemed to be out, so I installed a new one, then bled the hydrolic clutch with the bleeder valve that is located on the transmission, ran great for about 50 miles, the the clutch started to go again, so I bled the clutch again and it does the same thing. The clutch seems fine and the transmission does too.

So my question is what do you think the problem is?
Could it be the "clutch master cylinder"?

It does not leak any fluid, it just seems to lose pressure like a brake master cylinder would do.

Sounds like the slave cylinder is leaking internally. When you did the clutch, what other parts did you replace and did you resurface the flywheel?

Well, either way still sounds like a hydraulic problem. I would go with the slave cylinder first.
