1995 Nissan Maxima water pump help

i have a nissan maxima and it started over heating. we ruled out all of the possible problems and narrowed it down to the water pump. is this something that we can do at home or do we need to bring it to a mechanic and about how much will it cost us.

Hi there,

If you are not experienced would get a mechanic to do this, it will take about 3 1/2 - 4 Hrs and pump depending on where it comes from will cost around $120 - $150.00 you will have to allow for coolant replacement as well.
