The car seems to idle very well when it is in park and when it is in neutral. As soon as apply the breaks and shift it into gear, it starts shake as if it is trying to surge forward. (The mechanic suggested a throttle position censor.)

Test the throttle position sensor and the airflow meter

Well if it is only one cyclinder that is missing than I would be lead to believe that it is probably the injected or the the compression.
