Brakes problem
1992 Nissan Maxima 6 cyl Automatic 180000 miles

I am replacing the front brakes in my 92 Maxima and the caliper piston on the passenger side will not compress at all. Right now im just using a large pair of clamp pliers and an old pad, but it wont even budge at all with all my strength. I have the lid to the master cylinder open, but I don't know what else to do, I can't get the caliper back on.

Hi there,

Try opening the bleeder, if this dose not work, the piston may have come to far out and is cocked, you may need to take off the caliper and remove the piston, check the seal and with plenty of rubber grease re assemble.
