1989 Nissan Maxima radiator fans

Why would the fans kick on only after wiglling the 1 spark plug wire? It doesn't seem to do anything when the others are moved. Just the 1.

when you wiggle that wire are you sure its not touchign another wire that is related to the fan wiring circuit and you are inturn moving that with the #1 spark plug wire?
