Electrical problem
1989 Nissan Maxima 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

Hi I have a 98 Nissan Maxima intended for my EX Wifes Daughter which has the Passenger Window 1/2 Open and the Power Windows are Dead.

All Windows do not work.

Before I tear this Car Apart can anyone guide me to a possibly known issue to aid in my fault diagnostic.

Many Thanks

Robert

Sorry Sir I need to confirm I have a 89 Nissan.

I typed them backwards in my question.

Is the above information for the 98 Model?

Thanks

For 98 power window circuitry

Check and test the fuse F 30amp and circuit breaker before you continue to troubleshoot

Many thanks for your Help.

I was able to regain control of the remaining 3 Windows but the Passenger Side will only go UP.

Both the 4 Way Switch on the Drivers Side and the 1 on the Passenger Console will open the Window but not close it.

All other windows will close.

These Door Panels have been opened by other people so assuming all wires are connected correctly what would cause the Window Motor not to operate to close the Window.

Again many thanks.

Test the window motor by applying battery voltage to it in both direction up and down if it works test the wiring on that side and also at the main switch
