2010 Nissan Frontier Driver's side mirror

Driver's power mirror will not adjust far enough out to cover blind spot. Can the pivot point where the mirror joins the mount be adjusted to compensate? The dealer says no, but he then started talking about the limits of the power adjuster so I don't think he understood the question. If this moved out 1 degree it would correct it.

blind spots are called that for a reason, your side mirror will probably not cover the blind spot, you will have to look over shoulder for that..the mirror is not made to be adjusted at the joint where you are talking about.
