During acceleration and highway driving I have no vibration. When slowing down after driving above 40MPH it experiences a loud noise and strong vibration. This occurs whether applying my brakes or not and occurs whether my car is in gear or neutral. Also, I have had new tires and a alighnment completed and the problem still exists.

Hi wv15956,

Check the propeller shaft couplings for wear or stiffness due to lack of lubricants.
