I'm trying to confirm location of the thermostat and sensor, and determine if i can replace them myself. The location appears to be off the lower radiator hose instead of the upper, and is tucked behind another part. Can I do this myself?

make sure that when you remove hoses that they are not dry rotted, and invest in channel locks to squeeze the clamps off, as well as on. it took all of about thirty minutes to do this fix on my husband's truck, took more tiime to locate than anything else. Also invest in bandaids because your hands will be bleedin.
