2002 Nissan Frontier Only right wiper works

About 3 days ago when I turned the windshield wipers on, only the right wiper works. The driver's side does nothing, but the passenger side works just fine. Do they operate on separate motors?

Did you get it fixed yet? There is a nut under a plastic cover where the wiper goes on the stem. I should say "Wiper Arm". Pop off cover & tighten nut. I have never seen "Dual Motors" on any vehicle for wipers.
