How do you remove the wiper arm?

How do you remove the wiper arm. I am told that at the base of the arm is a cover that pops off and then a nut under it to remove the arm. However the base of the arm appears to be one piece and I can't figure out how to get it off to get to the nut underneath.

Its right underneath the cap pry it equally around it, it will pop open, then try tightening it down.

It is best to use a battery terminal puller so you don't damage the threads or the wiper arm, here is the instructions on how to change the wiper arms out. Check out the images (below). Let us know if you need anything else.
