1999 Nissan Frontier 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

My car is sputtering when i accelerate in gear. someone said it might be the map sensor. Where is the map sensor located and how do i check it?

absolute pressure sensor is located at right side of engine compartment, near the relay box. is your check engine light on?
