Engine Cooling problem
1976 Datsun 120Y 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual - miles

Hi. on start *cold* appears to be coolant dripping from exhaust (could just be moister) car does not appear to be loosing coolant or over heating. After running for a few minutes this heavy white smoke disappears.
Could it be a minor head gasket crack?

Hi there,

The moisture dripping when cold is normal, but the white smoke is a bit of a worry, i would get a head check done just to be sure, this will test for Co2 in the cooling system, as sure sign that you have a head problem.
