2008 Nissan Altima 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Would a 2008 Nissan Altima engine 2.5L fit in a 2003 Sentra? Both engine's have a letter "A" as the fourth digit of the VIN number.

Hi E & R auto,

Both engines are the same but sometimes for different models there could be some external changes to accomodate the different in hook up components.

I have not done such transplants before so do not know if there are any area that you should take note.

Best thing is to compare both engines on the ground.
