Driver's seat does not recline. It's electric. The seat itself moves in all directions, but the back rest only moves forward and does not move back.

What should I look for? And, how do I remove the plastic cover on the left side of the seat to examine motors, wiring and controls?

hard one... switch or motor. Would not know untill using a ohms meter to see if there is current going through the switch or not then if there is then the motor is sot... check junk years possible for thoses parts...
