2003 Nissan Altima Bad exhaust bung

Hi, what's the best way to fix the bung on the 1st O2 sensor on the exhaust manifold? I don't want to take it off.

This seems to be a common fault, if you notice exhaust coming into the cabin this is why.

you can clean it up and try to weld it but your best bet is take it off and properly clean it and reweld it that way it fits on there properly. and it will not rust out again and break. welding cast iron is hard with it on vehicle as it will require heating the cast to prevent cracking.
