2002 Nissan Altima Coincidence??

My husband took my car into our usual garage for an oil change . . . and about 1 week later - the alternator went out on my car and had to be replaced. Oddly enough - my husband just had the oil changed in his BMW X5 at the same garage, and again, within a week, the alternator had to be replaced in his vehicle. Is this just an odd coincidence - or something we should look into further? Thank you!

you will be hard pressed to prove anything, but I would report it.

it just sounds too fishy...

And I hate saying that about any mechanic.
