An exhaust smell inside the car

Engine Mechanical problem 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

When I put the peddle to the medal in my 2002 Nissan Altima 4 cylinder, I smell a bad exhaust smell inside the car. Is this bad? If yes. Whatta I do please?

Hello,

This sounds like you have an exhaust leak which is getting back into the car. Lift the car up to inspect the muffler pipes

Good call there is a big o hole in the exhaust pipe it looks like it just rotten through. I had it fixed and now the car does not stink anymore thanks 2Carpros
