my car is running high,sometimes when i accelerate the engine start shaking and just shut off.my temperature guage is going up in down ,can you tell me what seems to be theproblem?

what do you mean by running high? if you mean it's overheating and trying to stall , you may have a cracked head gasket or cylinder head. Check the coolant level and let me know how it looks..
