2001 Nissan Altima cat converter

the other day my ses light came on so I went to the nissan dealership and pulled a p0420 code. I also notice clunking/knocking noise within the engine. Could this noise be caused from a clogged cat converter? This is so frustrating pls help...thank you

Code can be set by exhaust leak befor CAT also injector or spark plug missfire if none of thoes then CAT is faulty
