Oil Light comes on when car is at idle .. Below 1000 rpm. Goes off when above , no rough drive no metallic noise from engine... Can it be either oil pump going bad or Oil sending unit switch faulty????

Do an oil pressure check with a mechanical gauge if you found normal readings, you've located a bad oil pressure switch.
