2000 Nissan Altima Gauges are on when car is started freeze

When I first start my car all the gauges are woking fine. After driving the gauges start jumping around and then they freeze. The will start working again then start jumping and freezing again. This happens each time I drive the car

Check under the dash to be sure the connector to your instrument panel is tight.
